SAPS-UNLIMITED Substance Abuse Professionals (SAPs) provide D.O.T. SAP services for employees who fail random drug screenings at their place of employment.
Our SAPs evaluate employees who have violated a Department of Transportation (D.O.T.) drug and alcohol program regulation and make recommendations concerning education, treatment, follow-up testing, and aftercare, if needed.
Substance Abuse Professionals (SAPs) represent the major decision point (and in some cases the only decision point) an employer may have in choosing whether or not to place an employee behind the steering wheel of a school bus, in the cockpit of a plane, at the helm of an oil tanker, at the throttle of a train, in the engineer compartment of a subway car, or at the emergency control valves of a natural gas pipeline.
(SAPs) are advocates for neither the employer nor the employee. Their function is to protect the public interest in safety by professionally evaluating the employee and recommending appropriate education and/or treatment, follow-up tests, and aftercare.
SAPS-UNLIMITED has over 15 years of experience and the required training to perform D.O.T. SAP Return-to-Duty process. We work with employers that provide transportation services or the transport of products, including all personnel involved in processing substance abuse violations.
We help facilitate the implementation of evaluations and treatment services for those cited for positive drug or alcohol use while employed in a safety-sensitive position.
Our SAPs help employees get back on the job. Appointments are available within 24 hours, and open 7 days per week.
